Volt 1 Gen 2 Home Studio Set – Voice and Guitar, Shaped at the Source

Volt 1 Gen 2 gives a singer-songwriter one mic input with a Tone Shaping Preamp and a front Hi-Z input for guitar. Add the AT2020, flat M40x headphones and a desk arm, and the only thing left to buy is an XLR cable.

In This Setup

• Universal Audio Volt 1 Gen 2 – USB-C interface with one mic/line input on a Tone Shaping Preamp (Warmth, Focus, Shine; 60 dB gain), a front Hi-Z input, 32-bit/192 kHz conversion and loopback; bus-powered, with LUNA and the UAD Volt Studio Bundle.
• Audio-Technica AT2020 – cardioid condenser with a 0.63-inch low-mass diaphragm, 20 Hz-20 kHz response, 144 dB max SPL and an all-metal body; pivoting stand mount with 5/8" to 3/8" adapter included.
• Audio-Technica ATH-M40x – closed-back studio headphones with flat-tuned 40 mm drivers, 90-degree swiveling earcups and coiled plus straight detachable cables.
• Tie Studio Flex Broadcast Mic Stand – powder-coated steel desk arm with internal springs, 360-degree rotation and a clamp for desks up to 60 mm.

Why This Combination

• Voice and guitar at once: mic input for the AT2020, Hi-Z input for the guitar.
• Tone before the DAW: pick Warmth for vocals or Focus for guitar while you record.
• Honest monitoring: the flat-tuned M40x shows what the condenser really picked up.

Set price includes all four products; XLR cable sold separately.
